About Me

Jocelene Lomas
I am a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. I have worked in both public and non-for-profit organisations, as well as private practice. I am a compassionate and driven practitioner that will adapt clinical interviews or sessions to support the individual presenting in front of me.
I work from a holistic perspective and deliver intervention through a client-centered approach, drawing from a number of different evidence based therapies. The foundation of my work is based on trauma informed care and practice. I deliver treatment to clients with varying presentations. Referrals are accepted through the Better Access Initiative, private, as well as third party contexts.
I have experience completing psychological reports for Weapons Licencing, Criminal Law, Family Law, and Civil Law matters, Child Safety, and Department of Home Affairs (immigration matters); and have specific expertise and training in the assessment of forensic matters including risk assessments for violent offending, sexual offending, and general offending. I also provide treatment to forensic clients, through the Probation and Parole District Offices, as well as private practice.
